December Giving Appeal
Please consider making your tax-deductible donation toward the CERESAV Education Fund to support the education of children of acid attack violence survivors in Uganda.
Children of acid attack violence survivors face unique challenges that can hinder their educational opportunities. Education provides numerous long-term benefits for children acid attack survivors and their families, empowering them to rebuild their lives and overcome challenges.
Acid attack violence has devastating effects on survivors and their families which include:
• Physical disabilities and disfigurement which make it difficult for the survivors to work and pay for their children’s education.
• Psychological trauma which affects the whole family, potentially impacting children’s ability to focus on their education.
• Financial strain from medical treatments and loss of income which makes affording the education of their children challenging.
The CERESAV Education Fund prioritizes the education of these children to break the cycle of vulnerability and marginalization and empower them for a brighter future by supporting these children to go to school or stay in school. We support our clients to ensure that their children stay healthy and protected from exploitation that comes with vulnerability.
Will you please give to ensure that the children of acid attack violence survivors can thrive, learn, and build a future free from the shadows of past violence?
